Description
The Mothers of Special Needs Children group is peer-led support for mothers of children (young or adults) with special needs of all kinds. For this group, special needs are defined by any type of diagnosis (emotional, physical, medical, or psychological). We are a community of moms walking down a similar path that comes with unique challenges. Our group will meet on Wednesday nights starting 1/15/25 at 6:30 pm in room 222. We also have an online component for attendance via Zoom.
Please see below for information about childcare for typical and special needs children. To help us best prepare for your child, we kindly request that you register your child for our special needs classes.
Childcare for Infants - Preschoolers
For parents who are volunteering or meeting in an on-campus group, childcare is available for infants - preschoolers in the Preschool Hallway of the Hendersonville campus. In order for us to provide the best possible care and appropriate staffing, we kindly request that all childcare participants register for care.

Special Needs LH Kids (K-5)
Our elementary sensory room for Kindergarten - 5th grade will be open weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:15 - 7:30 PM in the upstairs Kids Hallway on the Hendersonville campus. If your child typically attends a CDC class at school, the sensory room may be a good fit for Wednesday nights. The sensory room will follow the same series as LH Kids.
